In addition to career training, Springdale Job Corps also provides academic training, including basic reading and math. Courses in independent living, employability skills, and social skills are offered in order to help students transition into the workplace. We also have several academic programs to help our students achieve their full potential.
GED and High School Diploma
One of our top goals at Springdale Job Corps is to ensure that every qualified student obtains his or her GED or high school diploma prior to leaving the center. Students who don't already have a high school diploma upon their arrival at Springdale can enroll in our GED program.
Springdale Job Corps offers a high school diploma through the Penn Foster online high school curriculum. The GED curriculum has been updated to meet the new GED 2014 standards. Both programs meet the requirements of the core competencies being taught throughout the United States.
