She began her work at Job Corps as a career counselor and later became a Retail Sales instructor before assuming her current position. Christine is passionate about people, and working for Job Corps allows her to use her educational background to prepare students for their future careers.

is the Home Builders Institute’s Building Construction Technology instructor at Maui Job Corps Center. He joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union in 1982, moved to Hawaii in 1985, and later began working in the construction industry and founded his own company. Darren hopes to inspire his students and teach them the skills he has learned throughout his career to give them a great start for their own lives.

joined the Maui Job Corps Center team nearly 10 years ago, originally as the education secretary and now as the work-based learning specialist. She also brings experience in the hospitality industry, working at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa for seven years, and over 20 years in customer service. In her free time, Peggy is part of a motorcycle club, team captain at Valley Isle Bowling Club and a member of Ahahui Ka’ahumanu Chapter IV. She enjoys riding her motorcycle, bowling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Before joining Maui Job Corps Center as Culinary Arts instructor, Larry Tuzon graduated from the Maui Community College Culinary Arts program and worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. His hospitality experience spans several resorts, hotels and restaurants in the Maui area, and he also has experience as an educator at local high schools and community colleges. Larry enjoys incorporating his love for cooking and passion for teaching into his daily work, helping students gain real-life skills and build a strong foundation for their futures.

, Career Preparation Period instructor at Maui Job Corps Center, has been with the program for over 15 years. Previously, he served as both an Academic and Career Training instructor and a group life manager. Rolland loves his work as CPP instructor and empowering students to reach their goals.

From a midnight residence assistant to a career preparation period instructor and now education services secretary, she has loved each role she has filled. Brailey enjoys working at a place that feels like ’ohana (family), and she is passionate about watching students achieve their goals, grow personally and excel in the program.

brings years of experience as a systems engineer and educator to his role as Office Administration instructor at Maui Job Corps Center. Paul enjoys encouraging his students to stay motivated and guiding them through their training.

is the Math instructor at Maui Job Corps Center. He has experience as a Hawaiian immersion teacher, field technician, administrative office and high school coach. In his free time, Kumu teaches sign dancing and is a member of several local community groups.
